Recording Magazine interview with Lorenz Rychner
Lorenz Rychner, Editor of Recording Magazine, recently came by my studio to interview me for an upcoming article on recording techniques for acoustic stringed instruments. The interview focuses on how I approach recording on my upcoming album. Lorenz took some great photos of microphone placement on my Taylor 912-C, Martin D35, Ramirez, High String, and Vihuela. Haitian Earthquake Live Video Webcast Fundraiser Telethon
I was asked to Music Direct a fundraiser Sunday January 24th. In the band except for myself on guitar, was Herman Matthews-drums, JV Collierbass, Stephan Oberhoff-piano. The evening also featured lots of other amazing artists including some of L.A.'s top singer/songwriters and comedians.
